Naneghat, a mountain pass in the serene Western Ghats,The rugged trails lead you through untouched, placid patches of nature.an ancient toll booth on the trade route between Junnar and Malshej.
In 3rd century AD, it used to be a toll booth on the trade route between Desh and Konkan regions. Now it is a fantastic trekking destination near by Mumbai and Pune.It will take 3 hours to reach on top.During the rain you would see a beautiful greenery around but a little difficult while trekking in rainy season where you need to crossed some streams.

How to reach Naneghat from Mumbai
Kalyan-Murbad-Tokawade-Vaishakhare-Naneghat Start Point

1. you can get local train which going towards Kalyan (on Central Line),and get down at Kalyan Station.
2. The ST depot is just besides the station ,take any ST bus which going towards Alephata (strictly going via Malshej Ghat)
3. Get down at the start point of Naneghat.
